Tornyos Panzió és Étterem in Mátrafüred Village is a delightful getaway nestled in the lush greenery of the Mátra Mountains. The staff greeted us with a refreshing welcome drink, setting a warm tone for our stay. The traditional Hungarian cuisine offered at the restaurant was a feast for the senses, though I found the prices a bit steep compared to what was promised online. Our room, while not the biggest, featured charming wooden furniture and a cozy seating area perfect for unwinding after our hiking adventures. A highlight for me was the sauna, which we indulged in after a long day exploring the beautiful surroundings. Despite the minor hiccups, we enjoyed a wonderful week filled with amazing views and good vibes!
